Welcome to Beaver Creek -
North America's Grand Mountain Resort

The Resort:

Beaver Creek is actually made up of three discreet base areas. The main Beaver Creek Village is located at the base of Beaver Creek mountain at the head of the creek, just a few miles south of I 70 and a little west of Vail. Bachelor Gulch village where the Ritz Carlton will take care of your every need is just a mile or so further west at the base of Bachelor Gulch mountain, and Arrowhead is a little further west still and also a little lower at 7,400 feet. All are linked not only by the mountain, but also by a "dial and ride" shuttle sevice. There are also the surrounding towns of Edwards, Avon and Eagle, and the local Eagle County airport, all just a few minutes drive away.

Beaver Creek is well known worldwide for the "Birds of Prey" downhill run, which is renowned as one of the most difficult courses on the World Cup racing circuit after the Hahnenkamm in Kitzbuhel, Austria. The mountain is also well known for the excellence of their grooming crews and perfect corduroy is not only expected, but delivered every day to the delight of those searching for that perfect run with meticulous precision.

The main village was developed as an exclusive resort, and is maintained as such with the day skier parking being located just off of highway 6 on the edge of the resort areas. The heart of the resort, Beaver Creek Village is set around the skating rink and is full of quaint shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants which are all conveniently linked by heated walkways and escalators.
