Welcome to Steamboat -
Ski Town, U.S.A.®

The Resort:

Steamboat is one of North America’s largest ski mountains, its six peaks are filled with world-class groomed cruisers, bumps, steeps, open meadows, legendary tree skiing, and Mavericks, North America’s longest superpipe, that makes it pretty hard to beat. But there is so much more to Steamboat than the mountains. The Town itself is almost as legendary! Nestled nearly 7,000' up in the northern Colorado Rockies, Steamboat is a true western town. It has Victorian charm and the many original brick storefronts that have graced its streets since the days of the old west when it was a bustling ranching and cattle town.

The stetson hat is still an everyday sight in Steamboat, in fact it is a part of the image of the town, and every day you will see powder hounds and bump masters alike, proudly displaying their heritage on the slopes with their cowboy gear. But Steamboat isn't just some hick town up in the hills, it has all of the sophistication of any European resort. From the upscale boutiques and high end homes and condos, to the raucous bars and restaurants on a friday night, Steamboat can hold its own with the best of them.

If you are looking for a real town where friendliness and great service abound, give Steamboat a try - you will not be disappointed!
