Welcome to Telluride -
The most beautiful place you'll ever ski...

The Resort:

The town of Telluride is nestled in a box canyon in the southwest of Colorado in the heart of the majestic San Juan mountains. It truly is a spectacular location, with seemingly sheer walls rising from the town right to the top of the 13,000' peaks above. Telluride is just six blocks wide and twelve blocks long, and due to its significant role in the history of the American West, the core area of Telluride was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1964. The history of the area stretches back to the Ute indians who hunted in this area for centuries, through the early mountain men and trappers who plied their trade in this pristine wilderness to the Gold Rush days of the 1800's when Butch Cassidy robbed his fist bank here. A rich and very colorful town, Telluride has maintained its "Frontier Town" feel and today is full of colorful Victorian-era homes, clapboard storefronts, boutiques, art galleries, gourmet restaurants, historic buildings and much more, Telluride is a delight to explore.

The "other side" of Telluride is the Mountain Village which is perched at 9,500 feet mid-mountain on the south side of the ski area, the mountain village entices guests with its luxury hotels and condos, stylish boutiques and innovative dining. It is linked to the town of Telluride by a spectacular 13-minute free gondola ride. This popular scenic attraction serves as public transportation while providing free access to skiing, hiking and biking trails. Both the town and Mountain Village sit at the edge of the slopes and lifts of the ski mountain.

As they say: "Only in Telluride..."
